Babysitting in Fairbanks

I was in Fairbanks this summer and babysat Sam, while mom and dad went and had some quiet time. Four days and we had a blast. I put some sand in the wadding pool and... Oh, what a laugh I had and everyone else has laughed too.

Generation picture

Recently, my cousin and I were talking about people saying they are bored. Well, we both had something postive to say. WE AREN'T bored.

and more quilts

This is grandson Samuel's quilt. What fun to be a grandmother. The blocks are 4Inch and I had won them in a block lottery on the 4inch quilt block list. I alternated stars and airplanes. The outer border fabrics were used in his bumper pads in his crib.

MOre quilts

When life gives you scraps, I quilt. I started this quilt when I lived in Alaska 2005 and only after, I moved to Brownsville, was I able to finish the top. Most of the blocks are leftover from swapping blocks on the internet.

Rescue Me

Funny how this quilt helped rescue me out of a bad personal relationship. I had no sooner put the binding on when my relationship with boyfriend ended rather suddenly. My girl friends came and rescued me in the middle of the night. So I called the quilt 911. HELP, as there was a need for me to vacate the premises soon.

On a cold winter's day

we quilt or do homework.. or homework or quilt.

Good afternoon, winter is here in the Williamette Valley. I've been working on mostly homework this last year. Quilting is still on my mind. I've heard that gasoline is going up again. Election year.
