Scrappy Quilts

Over the years, I've really found that I like doing scrappy quilts.
This was a batik strip quilt for a wedding gift for Joshua and Ashley Hite

Another wedding quilt for a cousin.

The blocks for this quilt were from a Block Swap.  I think I still have enough to do another quilt.

This quilt I found at an estate sale,  it's all hand quilted and hand embroidered.

My daugherinlaw loves Halloweeen and this is a Disappearing Nine Patch.

When I worked at the Quilt shop we started a contest on University Quilts.  I still love my Duck Quilt

Darlene Krake with a QOV presented to Ralph Soltau  Summer 2015.  WWII Veteran Purple Heart Brownsville, OR

This was a scrappy quilt that I gifted out.

The Girl Quilts.  I seen this quilt in Sister's 2008.  So I made each one of my nieces a quilt, flower fabric, Dot fabrics, stripes and plaids.  The pattern was not available but Jean Wells sent me hers.  Thank you Jean.    Fun...
Cheyene, Chloe and Clarissa Hughes,  Tory Philpott

Quilt show

Quilts and Quilts and Quilts.
This quilt is leftover blocks and currently on my Dad's bed.

This jewel tone star quilt was gifted to my Sisterinlaw

Brick - I spy quilts I made for five of my great nephews.

Challenge quilt for Darlene,  love the sunflowers.

Some of these blocks were from Quiltville.com's  I don't remember who I gave this one too.

When my son moved into his new home and next.  I made him this Mariner's Compass Quilt.  it was quilted by Terry Helmers in Fairbanks Alaska.   I worked non stop on this for 10 days.  All Batik fabrics.

Scrappy log cabin.  the blocks were from an exchange on one of the Internet Groups I belonged too.

More mystery quilt

These are the golds
I picked.   That little sunflower reminds me of the movie Tuscany under the
Sun.

Another mystery clue

My contribution to quiltville.com annual
Mystery quilt.   I have very little gray in my stash.   All other fabrics I pulled from
My stash.
